Confession. This may make me the most naughty wedding blogger but it’s true that I would have completely crashed this wedding because I don’t know of anyone who could not resist a well-styled New Years Eve bash. But I must warn you that the city that hosted this lovely soiree couldn’t be any prettier, with a dazzling skyline that lights up the night and an area known for being the “river city” (seriously, you can get anywhere by boat!) – I should know this since I call this gorgeous city home. But when you add in one beautiful couple in love plus a modern vibe with coral accents, it’s official that you have the makings of a fabulous fete!
from the bride, Jessica…
“We wanted a fun non-traditional wedding, which is why we chose to have it on New Years Eve. We put a lot of effort into making sure everyone had a wonderful time. We started the ceremony late, at 7:30 pm, so that it would go through New Years Day. After the ceremony, we had the Red Carpet cocktail hour and the reception followed. After our reception was over, we moved to the topsider at the Wyndham to bring in the New Year and have a midnight breakfast buffet. We love the idea of to different parts of the hotel since it was a pretty lengthy wedding. Overall we had a blast. Everything turned out beautiful and it was a fun and amazing night.”
“The best moment of my wedding day was spending time with my husband doing the first look. We had a chance to get away from all the chaos and spend some time together taking pictures.”
“My favorite design element of the wedding had to be the beautiful arbor that we had at the ceremony. It was draped in coral satin fabric and inside of the arbor was a crystal chandelier. Rachael Kasie Designs was my event designer and florist. She did an amazing job with everything. The transformation of the room was amazing.”
